I stayed here with a group of friends for a week over the Easter holidays and it was great! Brilliant hosts who really thought about it and did everything to make the stay super pleasant… The house is beautiful. It is typically English and yet very modern at the same time. I love the works of art that can probably be found in almost every room. We were a group of 8. Everyone had plenty of space and two great designed bathrooms to take a bath or use the walk in shower. The rooms are bright, very friendly, well equipped and with really good beds. I have seldom slept so well. The downstairs kitchen is a real highlight – huge, perfect for gathering and cooking together… We often sat there late into the night and had a really good time as a group. The location of the house is superb, lots of good restaurants and bars near the Barbican which is a really cute area… And the Hoe is really nice just 2 minutes from the house, perfect for walks… A big thank you to Ian and Derek. It doesn’t get any better than that. We want to come back.
